Indirect Tax Analyst

About the role

The Indirect Tax Analyst will join a globally recognised media & entertainment brand operating within a high‑performing EMEA shared services environment. Reporting to the regional tax function, you will own end‑to‑end VAT compliance across multiple European jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and audit‑ready filings. This role offers exposure to transformation projects and the chance to develop expertise in European indirect tax.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT returns and related filings (e.g., Intrastat, EC Sales Lists) for the UK, Ireland and other European countries.
• Support withholding tax processes and develop expertise in this area.
• Perform reconciliations between ERP systems and tax reporting outputs.
• Maintain robust, audit‑ready documentation in line with internal controls.
• Serve as the primary contact for regional stakeholders on tax data queries.
• Contribute to system and process improvements, including ERP transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in indirect tax or VAT compliance, preferably within a multinational or shared services environment.
• Strong knowledge of European indirect tax, with specific experience in UK and Ireland VAT.
• Exposure to withholding tax (advantageous but not essential).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other tax engines is desirable.
