About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing professional services firm in Cheltenham, is looking for an Indirect Tax Senior Manager to lead VAT advisory work for corporate clients. The role combines technical tax expertise with client‑facing responsibilities in a dynamic, middle‑market environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain tax relationships with corporate clients, delivering high‑level service.
• Provide practical VAT advice that resolves pressing client issues.
• Manage delivery of tax advice, ensuring technical excellence and a commercial approach.
• Produce clear, concise, jargon‑free solutions for clients.
• Participate in varied middle‑market advisory projects, handling fast‑paced workloads.

Required profile

• CTA qualified or demonstrably strong technical tax knowledge.
• Extensive VAT experience across multiple sectors.
• Proven ability to conduct risk‑focused VAT due‑diligence reviews.
• Experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
