Individual Giving Lead – Acquisition

About the role

The Individual Giving Lead – Acquisition will own the supporter acquisition programme for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT). Working closely with the Head of Individual Giving, you will design and run multi‑channel campaigns that attract high‑quality new donors at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual acquisition plan aligned with the wider Individual Giving strategy.
• Plan, test and deliver digital, face‑to‑face and direct‑mail campaigns to grow donor numbers and income.
• Design a personalised welcome journey for new supporters to maximise lifetime value.
• Monitor performance against KPIs such as cost per acquisition (CPA) and lifetime value (LTV).
• Analyse campaign data, generate insights and make evidence‑based recommendations.
• Ensure all activities comply with the Code of Fundraising Practice and relevant legal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in acquisition within individual giving or a digital marketing team.
• Track record of recruiting new supporters through multiple marketing channels.
• Experience monitoring, evaluating and reporting on KPI performance.
• Strong numeracy skills for budget management and spend monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Required skills

• Data‑driven mindset with ability to analyse campaign performance.
• Knowledge of multi‑channel fundraising tactics (digital, face‑to‑face, direct mail).
• Familiarity with fundraising regulations and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
