Industrial Cleaning Operative – Aircraft Wheel & Brake Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Industrial Cleaning Operative to join our team on a 4‑days‑on, 4‑days‑off roster (06:00‑18:00). The role starts as temporary with the potential to become permanent, offering a competitive hourly rate and weekend premium.

Key responsibilities

• Read and follow work instructions, maintenance manuals, operating procedures and customer specifications.
• Operate dedicated cleaning machines to clean aircraft wheels and brake components.
• Perform media blasting to remove paint and surface contaminants.
• Maintain a tidy, safe work environment and adhere to health‑and‑safety standards.
• Adapt to shift changes as required by customer demand.

Required profile

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent qualification).
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.

Required skills

• Operation of aircraft wheel and brake cleaning machines.
• Media blasting for paint removal.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in an industrial setting.
