Industrial Door Engineer – Competitive Pay & Benefits

About the role

We are seeking two experienced Industrial Door Engineers to join a well‑established, growing business in Reading. This field‑based position involves installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial door systems for commercial and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and repair industrial door systems, including roller shutters, sectional doors, high‑speed doors and steel doors.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive repair calls.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete digital job sheets and service documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and office staff.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and deliver high‑quality workmanship.
• Participate in a structured on‑call rota.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing, servicing and repairing industrial door systems.
• Experience with a variety of manufacturers and door types.
• IPAF and PASMA certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• DHF qualifications and/or CSCS Card (advantageous).
