Industrial Door Engineer – Field Service

About the role

We are seeking two experienced Industrial Door Engineers to join a well‑established, growing company in Milton Keynes. The role is field‑based, covering installation, service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of industrial door systems for commercial and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and repair industrial door systems including roller shutters, sectional doors, high‑speed doors and steel doors.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and resolve issues.
• Complete digital job sheets and service documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and office staff.
• Work safely, independently and as part of the wider engineering team.
• Participate in a structured on‑call rota scheduled in advance.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing, servicing and repairing industrial door systems.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Experience with roller shutters, sectional doors, high‑speed doors and steel doors.
• IPAF and PASMA certification.
• Knowledge of a variety of industrial door manufacturers.
• DHF qualifications and/or CSCS Card (advantageous).
