Industrial Door Engineer – Newcastle (Field-based)

About the role

We are seeking two experienced Industrial Door Engineers to join a well‑established, growing business in Newcastle. The role is field‑based, covering installation, service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of industrial door systems for commercial and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and repair roller shutters, sectional doors, high‑speed doors and steel doors.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive repair calls.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Complete digital job sheets and service documentation accurately.
• Communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and office staff.
• Participate in a structured on‑call rota and work safely to high standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing, servicing and repairing industrial door systems.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
