Industrial Refrigeration Maintenance Manager

About the role

This position leads the maintenance service for industrial refrigeration systems, primarily serving clients in the South East and Greater London area. Based in Ashford, you will combine office‑based planning with regular on‑site visits to ensure contracts run smoothly and new business opportunities are supported.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing refrigeration maintenance contracts across the region.
• Conduct on‑site maintenance assessments for prospective clients to support contract sales.
• Ensure a complete and accurate paper trail for all service activities, including health & safety documentation.
• Coordinate with field technicians and manage the scheduling of service visits.
• Monitor contract performance and address any service issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar role within industrial or heavy commercial refrigeration.
• Familiarity with CO₂ refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
• Either a hands‑on tools background or internal/managerial experience in refrigeration.
• Based within reasonable travelling distance of Ashford, Kent.
• Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
