Join our dedicated team as an Information and Advice Worker to make a tangible difference in the Rugby community. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for adults over 25 facing complex housing challenges, providing essential guidance and support to help them regain stability and independence.

Missions principales

• Provide expert information, advice, and brief interventions to adults (25+) facing housing difficulties.
• Deliver support through multiple channels including physical walk-in centers, virtual sessions, telephone, email, and video calls.
• Act as the primary point of contact, offering both practical assistance and emotional support to service users.
• Empower individuals to gain autonomy and navigate complex social systems.
• Identify needs and provide appropriate referrals to long-term specialist services when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and manage caseloads across various sites in the Rugby area.

Profil recherché

• Proven experience in advisory roles, social work, or community support sectors.
• Strong empathetic communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations.
• Ability to work effectively both in-person and via digital platforms (video calls, email, etc.).
• Must hold a full UK driving license.
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Resilience and the ability to provide emotional support to vulnerable populations.
