Information & Cyber Security Analyst – Banking (Hybrid, London)

About the role

Join a leading banking organisation in London as an Information & Cyber Security Analyst. You will protect critical information assets, respond to security incidents and drive vulnerability remediation across a large enterprise environment. The role is hybrid, offering flexibility while working closely with technical and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead incident response activities and conduct thorough investigations of security events.
• Manage vulnerability assessment programmes and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms and ensure effective security monitoring.
• Provide expert advice on security best practices and act as a subject‑matter expert for other teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement security controls and improve overall security posture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in incident response, security monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Strong knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, Wireshark and Burp Suite.
• Understanding of threat modelling and investigation of cyber incidents.
• Broad technical background covering Windows, Linux, networking and virtualization (VMware).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., GCIA, GCIH, GCFA) are advantageous.
