Information Security Analyst

About the role

Travelfusion is looking for a proactive Information Security Analyst to join its newly created Infosec team. You will help protect the company’s travel‑booking platform, payment systems and data assets across its global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor network traffic, system logs and security alerts for suspicious activity.
• Act as first responder to security incidents, investigate breaches and restore systems.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, and remediate identified weaknesses.
• Develop and enforce security policies, incident‑response procedures and data‑protection controls.
• Ensure compliance with data‑protection laws and industry regulations.
• Produce detailed reports on incidents, vulnerabilities and security‑measure effectiveness.
• Research emerging threats and recommend defensive technologies.
• Audit disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity plans.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve overall security posture.
• Deliver cybersecurity awareness training to staff.

Required profile

• Analytical mindset with ability to examine large data sets for anomalies.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing systems and logs.
• Technical proficiency in operating systems, firewalls, encryption, VPNs and SIEM solutions.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
