Information Security Analyst

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing technology business to hire an Information Security Analyst for a newly created position within their security function. The role offers ownership of security operations, the chance to shape processes, and clear progression in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take responsibility for core security operations activities and help mature the function.
• Perform security monitoring, alert triage and SOC workflow management.
• Manage vulnerability remediation programmes and support incident response efforts.
• Work with infrastructure and technical teams to improve processes and reduce manual effort.
• Develop and maintain security tooling, including SIEM platforms.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of hands‑on experience in information security.
• Strong desire for ownership, visibility and long‑term growth.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with technical teams.
• Interest in building and improving security operations rather than following static procedures.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar or Rapid7.
• Security monitoring and alert triage.
• Vulnerability management.
• Incident response support.
• Automation or scripting mindset (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
