Information Security Engineer

About the role

The Information Security Engineer will join the EMEA security team to protect classified and sensitive IT systems. Reporting to the EMEA Information Security Officer, you will embed security throughout the system lifecycle and ensure compliance with UK Government, MoD and Lockheed Martin requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Secure by Design principles across classified IT projects.
• Provide security engineering expertise from concept through disposal, including architecture reviews, threat assessments and technical risk analysis.
• Develop and maintain accreditation artefacts such as RMADS, Security Cases and Security Management Plans.
• Coordinate accreditation activities and obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, compliance audits and support remediation activities.
• Assist with incident response investigations, patch management and security monitoring for classified environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with UK Government, MoD or defence‑contract security standards.
• Strong understanding of security accreditation processes and documentation.
• Ability to work closely with programme teams, architects, infrastructure engineers and accrediting authorities.
