Infrastructure / Cloud Projects Engineer – Managed Services

About the role

The role is for a Projects Engineer within a leading IT Managed Services provider. You will design, implement and support cloud and infrastructure solutions for a range of clients, working primarily from home with occasional visits to the office and client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure, Microsoft 365, Hyper‑V and VMware solutions.
• Configure and maintain servers, networking equipment, VPNs, DNS and DHCP services.
• Provide end‑to‑end project delivery, from requirements gathering to testing and handover.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure solutions meet Cyber Essentials standards.
• Travel to client sites as required and attend the office roughly every six weeks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Projects Engineer in a Managed Services or MSP environment.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
