Infrastructure Support Engineer – Windows & Azure

About the role

The Infrastructure Support Engineer will provide first‑ and second‑line technical assistance to users across EMEA, focusing on Windows environments, Azure and Microsoft 365 services. Based in Hemel Hempstead, the role combines day‑to‑day support with exposure to cloud and endpoint management technologies in a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for 1st and 2nd line tickets covering end‑user devices, Microsoft 365, networking and collaboration tools.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers with clear diagnostics and context.
• Monitor and perform basic administration of Windows Server and Microsoft 365 infrastructures.
• Handle Active Directory tasks such as user provisioning, group changes and password resets.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including licensing, mailbox setup, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Support Azure AD onboarding/off‑boarding, MFA, Conditional Access and security monitoring via Azure Sentinel.
• Deploy and manage devices using Intune, Autopilot and related modern management tools.
• Maintain documentation, configuration records and perform routine system health and backup checks.

Required profile

• Strong interest in IT support, infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Methodical troubleshooting approach with attention to detail.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
