Infrastructure Team Lead – 12 Month Fixed-Term (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Team Lead to join our Glasgow‑based IT function on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working hybrid with three days a week in the office, you will lead a skilled team delivering server, network and collaboration services for a global organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support members of the Infrastructure team.
• Allocate work, plan capacity and prioritise tasks to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Oversee change‑management activities to minimise business impact.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Manage BAU activities, Jira backlogs and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Act as an escalation point, driving issues to resolution.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and wider IT teams.

Required profile

• Proven team leadership and people‑management experience, preferably in a global environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience handling operational escalations and delivering positive outcomes.
• Track record of delivering BAU initiatives and small internal projects.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Passion for service improvement and operational excellence.
