Infrastructure Test Engineer – eDV Cleared (UK)

About the role

We are seeking an Infrastructure Test Engineer with active UK eDV clearance to join a leading national security organisation in Cheltenham. The role focuses on testing, validating and assuring enterprise infrastructure for mission‑critical programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies for secure infrastructure platforms.
• Perform functional, integration and system testing across Windows and Linux server environments.
• Validate networking components such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and firewalls.
• Identify defects, produce test reports and support defect‑management processes.
• Automate testing using scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking and platform engineering teams to ensure readiness for live deployment.

Required profile

• Active UK eDV clearance.
• Proven experience testing enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux Server environments.
• Understanding of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
• Experience writing test plans, cases and reports.
• Ability to work in secure or highly regulated environments.
