In‑House Probate Solicitor – High Value Estates

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Probate Solicitor or Private Client Solicitor to join our in‑house estate administration team in Knutsford. The role focuses on high‑value estates and provides a supportive environment without the pressure of business‑development targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage probate and estate administration matters from instruction to completion.
• Advise executors, trustees and beneficiaries on high‑value and complex estates.
• Administer trusts and oversee escrow arrangements.
• Provide specialist private‑client advice and technical legal support.
• Collaborate with a specialist team of approximately 85 professionals.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with experience in probate, estate administration or private client work.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high‑value and complex estates.
• Strong client‑care focus and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to develop into future leadership roles (management experience optional).

Required skills

• Knowledge of probate law, trust administration and escrow processes.
