Injection Moulding Setter – £40k‑£45k, Kidlington

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join a global precision‑engineering manufacturer in Kidlington. You will be responsible for setting up and running injection moulding machines, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. The role offers a fast‑paced environment where technical expertise directly impacts output.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute production changeovers to minimise downtime.
• Carry out safe mould changes and machine set‑ups.
• Set and optimise machines to meet target cycle times and productivity.
• Produce quality First Off samples before full production.
• Monitor machine performance and address quality or process issues promptly.
• Complete accurate production documentation and update performance systems.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe work areas.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as SMED, TPM, automation and process optimisation.
• Perform weekly Injection Moulding Machine fitness checks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter (essential).
• Formal qualifications in Injection Moulding Setting and Processing.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
