Inpatient Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the role

We are preparing to launch a brand‑new veterinary hospital in Cwmbran, opening early 2027, and are looking for experienced inpatient‑focused Registered Veterinary Nurses to lead patient care across first opinion and referral services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the care of in‑patient and emergency‑critical cases, including complex medical and surgical patients.
• Manage continuous rate infusions (CRIs) and indwelling catheters.
• Rotate between two weeks on in‑patients and one week as a GP RVN on a rolling three‑week rota.

Required profile

• Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with experience in inpatient/ECC care.
• Strong clinical standards and ability to handle a varied caseload.

Required skills

• Proficiency in managing continuous rate infusions (CRIs).
• Experience with indwelling catheter care.

What we offer

• 38.5‑40 hour week with a 3‑week rotating roster (2 weeks in‑patient, 1 week GP).
