Inside Sales / Pricing Specialist – Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are looking for an Inside Sales / Pricing Specialist to join the pricing team of a leading UK freight forwarder. The role focuses on generating new business and providing accurate freight quotations across air, sea and road transport.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new customers through lead generation, trade shows, follow‑up and cold calling.
• Determine the appropriate decision‑makers within target organisations.
• Prepare and deliver multimodal freight quotations (air, sea, road) and spot rates.
• Analyse market rates to ensure competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Operations to secure contracts.
• Maintain high standards of customer service throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on new‑business acquisition.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a sales and operations team.
