Inspection & Goods In Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an Inspection & Goods In Assistant to join a leading international manufacturing company in Frimley. The role involves checking incoming engineering materials, purchased components and internally produced parts to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for production.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming goods against drawings, specifications and certification requirements.
• Perform dimensional checks using verniers, callipers, height gauges, screw plug and ring gauges, plain plug and ring gauges, and micrometers.
• Record and report any non‑conformances, raising appropriate reports.
• Support stores and stock control activities.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment according to company procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in goods‑in inspection or a similar quality role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
