Inspiring Futures Outreach Worker

About the role

The Inspiring Futures Outreach Worker will join Faith in Families in Swansea to support adults who are economically inactive. You will help them build confidence, overcome barriers and access opportunities in training, volunteering, education or employment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct community outreach to engage adults facing economic inactivity.
• Build trusting relationships and provide one‑to‑one support.
• Develop personalised action plans that outline steps toward training, volunteering, education or work.
• Connect individuals with appropriate local services and resources.
• Monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable or disadvantaged adults.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Knowledge of local support services and pathways.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Commitment to promoting inclusion and empowerment.
