Installation Engineer – Electrical Installation & Commissioning

About the role

We are seeking an Installation Engineer with a strong electrical focus to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. You will work on‑site installing, wiring, and commissioning production machinery and automated equipment for manufacturing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install and assemble production machinery and equipment.
• Carry out electrical wiring for power, control and signal systems.
• Support first and second fix installations and full production line set‑up.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Commission and test machinery, troubleshooting faults during installation.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure safe, high‑quality site delivery.

Required profile

• Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in installation roles, preferably in industrial settings.
• Proven background in electrical installation and wiring of machinery.
• Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and schematics.
• Practical, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail.
