Installation Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading technology specialist that is expanding its installation team. The Installation Engineer will work alongside experienced Project Engineers to deliver high‑quality AV, telecoms, and access‑control projects across commercial sites in the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Install AV, telecoms and access‑control systems following technical drawings and schematics.
• Carry out first‑ and second‑fix installation work, including terminating and testing structured cabling.
• Support system commissioning, project completion and produce accurate installation documentation.
• Travel to customer sites nationwide, with occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AV, telecoms, structured cabling, access control or similar installation environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and flexible approach to travel and working hours.
