Installation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Installation Engineer to join a leading machine‑tool specialist supporting blue‑chip customers in aerospace, automotive, defence and advanced manufacturing. The role involves regular international and European travel to install, commission and maintain sophisticated CNC and automated equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on machine tools.
• Perform scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Install, commission and test new CNC, robotics and other automated machinery.
• Work with electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC systems.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure correct installation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service, Maintenance or Field Engineer in industrial environments.
• Strong independent problem‑solving ability on breakdowns.
• Experience with CNC, robotics or similar automated equipment.
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and working methodically.
