Installation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Installation Engineer to join our fire and security team in the North East of England. The role involves installing, maintaining and servicing fire, intruder, CCTV and access control systems for both commercial and domestic clients across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Install fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems at customer sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine system servicing.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and respond to emergency call‑outs.
• Travel throughout the North East, covering locations from York to Northumberland.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and work independently with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of fire, security and access control systems.
• Ability to work on both commercial and domestic projects.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
