Installation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Installation Engineer to join a specialist engineering business delivering innovative monitoring and detection solutions across the UK. The role involves installing, commissioning, maintaining and servicing specialist equipment at customer sites, primarily in London and the South West.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission specialist monitoring and detection systems.
• Perform electrical wiring, panel mounting and system testing.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and fault finding.
• Conduct site surveys and provide technical support.
• Complete project documentation and reports.
• Deliver excellent on‑site customer service.

Required profile

• Practical electrical background.
• Experience with control panels, alarm systems or similar equipment.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
