Installation Technician

About the role

Our client, a growing Camberley‑based supplier of modern, bespoke lighting products, is looking for a conscientious and practically minded Installation Technician to join their site‑based installation team. The role is hands‑on, safety‑focused and offers the chance to work directly with customers and a variety of lighting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Attend client sites to assist with the installation of lighting products.
• Prepare and assemble goods for dispatch, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Produce first‑batch samples and assess any faulty products.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow company safety procedures.
• Use hand tools and basic electrical equipment to complete installation tasks.

Required profile

• Positive, safety‑conscious attitude with strong hand‑eye coordination.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Practical, hands‑on experience in a similar environment.
• Comfortable using hand tools and possessing a reasonable degree of technical aptitude.
