Instrumentation Engineer – Advanced Measurement Systems

About the role

We are seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to join a fast‑growing deep‑tech company developing next‑generation measurement systems for aerospace and clean‑energy applications. The role is hands‑on, offering exposure to hardware integration, system testing and early‑stage production in a collaborative engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support design, build and integration of hardware components, including sensors and electronic modules.
• Assist mechanical design work using CAD tools.
• Set up and operate test rigs to evaluate system performance and analyse results.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and drive improvements based on test data.
• Support early production builds and coordinate with external suppliers.
• Document engineering designs, processes and test procedures.
• Collaborate with software engineers, physicists and other cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on engineering experience through internships, placements or academic projects.
• Strong interest in hardware systems, testing and problem‑solving.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software for mechanical design.
• Basic programming knowledge, preferably Python or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with sensors, electronic components and measurement systems.
