Insurance Account Handler – Commercial Division

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Insurance Account Handler to join a fast‑growing chartered insurance broker in Winchester. The role supports the Commercial Division, working closely with Business Development Executives, Account Executives and other handlers to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with existing customers, ensuring their insurance needs are met to agreed service levels.
• Assist in preparing forecasts, targets and budgets for the construction division in collaboration with the manager.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and other handlers to deliver high customer satisfaction.
• Keep client files, notes and documentation accurate, up‑to‑date and accessible.
• Operate in line with FCA Principles and internal procedures.
• Support the broking team with London Market placements, including Lloyd’s submissions.

Required profile

• Motivated, eager to learn and develop a career in insurance.
• Organised with the ability to manage own workload.
• Working towards or already holding a CII Certificate.
• Strong communication skills – telephone, verbal and written.

Required skills

• Experience with the Acturis insurance platform (preferred).
