About the role
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team in Kent, supporting both commercial and personal lines placements. You will act as the primary contact for brokers, delivering expert advice and ensuring risks are placed efficiently across the market.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly to broker queries and placement requests.
- Take ownership of enquiries, providing quotations and technical guidance.
- Develop and maintain strong broker and insurer relationships through regular meetings (virtual, telephone or face‑to‑face).
- Stay up‑to‑date with compliance requirements, market developments and internal processes.
- Engage with insurers to support placements, promote capabilities and assist with bespoke schemes.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in insurance broking or an insurer environment.
- Experience across both commercial and personal lines.
- Working towards or holding a CII Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong technical knowledge of insurance products and market appetite.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Acturis or similar broking systems.
