Insurance Quality Lead

About the role

We are looking for an Insurance Quality Lead to boost sales performance and ensure compliance across our broker teams. You will work closely with broking, sales, technical controls and compliance functions to raise standards, improve conversion and retention, and meet regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop broker capability through monthly coaching cycles, call and file reviews, and structured feedback.
• Design and deliver learning sessions on objection handling and creating positive customer outcomes.
• Partner with sales leaders, technical controls and compliance teams to maintain high‑quality conversations and broking practices.
• Conduct risk‑based quality reviews, post‑call audits and monitor action plans against regulatory standards.
• Document findings, propose remediation, and maintain an audit trail for regulatory reviews.
• Chair monthly quality and coaching huddles, aligning themes with sales operations.
• Collaborate with Technical and Compliance to approve wording, guardrails and ensure brokers follow correct procedures.
• Ensure adherence to Data Protection, FCA guidance and internal governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in broker distribution, sales coaching and quality assurance/compliance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial SME insurance and broker processes.
• Ability to analyse calls and files, provide constructive feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
