Insurance Renewals Agent

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Insurance Renewals Agent to join a leading motor insurance team in South East England. You will manage existing customer renewals, deliver outstanding service and help maximise retention through competitive motor insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers before their renewal date to review policies and discuss options.
• Identify customer needs, handle objections and provide suitable insurance solutions.
• Conduct fact‑finding conversations to ensure appropriate cover levels.
• Prepare and present accurate renewal quotations, liaising with insurers and underwriters.
• Negotiate renewals while balancing customer satisfaction and business goals.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities for additional insurance products.
• Ensure all interactions comply with FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in motor insurance renewals or customer retention.
• Strong negotiation and objection‑handling abilities.
• Proven track record of meeting retention and performance targets.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience using the Open GI Software House platform.
