Insurance Sales Executive – Commercial

About the role

We are looking for a driven Insurance Sales Executive to join a forward‑thinking commercial insurance business in Brighton. You will work within a supportive team, generating new business, building client relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new clients through outbound calls and lead‑generation activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Conduct fact‑finds to understand client insurance needs.
• Prepare quotations and present appropriate commercial insurance solutions.
• Follow up quotations and convert opportunities into sales.
• Manage your sales pipeline and keep accurate records.
• Identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximise business potential.
• Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in insurance sales, commercial insurance, business development or a target‑driven sales environment.
• Proven ability to generate new business and leads.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Confident making outbound sales calls and developing opportunities from scratch.
• Commercially minded with a proactive, results‑focused attitude.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

What we offer

• Salary £28,000 – £35,000 DOE plus uncapped OTE.
• Company benefits package.
• Hybrid working model – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote after training and probation.
• Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm schedule.
