Insurance Sales Manager / Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Manager to lead a dynamic team of 6‑10 sales executives in our Dartford office. You will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering a high‑energy environment that delivers results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a team of 6‑10 sales executives.
• Provide day‑to‑day support, guidance, and troubleshooting on sales queries.
• Monitor team performance against targets and KPIs, conducting regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
• Perform quality control checks on calls to maintain high standards and compliance.
• Assist the team with complex customer enquiries and objections.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive overall team results.
• Oversee team administration, including attendance, lateness, and HR matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience within the insurance industry.
• Previous supervisory, team‑leader or management experience.
• Strong understanding of target‑driven sales environments.
• Excellent communication, coaching and leadership abilities.
• Confident handling of performance management and HR‑related issues.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
