Insurance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Insurance Technician to join a specialist broker’s technical team in London. The role offers a supportive, collaborative environment with a genuine family‑feel culture and a focus on professional development within the Lloyd's and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain internal record systems and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
• Process risks, enter data onto the broking system and produce required accounting documentation.
• Create and issue Evidence of Coverage documents as needed.
• Prepare and submit LPANs to Xchanging in line with market standards.
• Generate payment bordereaux according to Xchanging guidelines.
• Carry out sanctions checks using the company’s sanctions platform.
• Provide ongoing support to senior brokers, account handlers and clients throughout the post‑placement process.
• Continuously review service delivery to maximise client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Experience using IMR and other London Market systems.
• Effective communicator who works well within a team.
• Flexibility to work across different classes of business.
• Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance standards.
• Positive, adaptable attitude with a desire to contribute to a close‑knit team.
