Integration and Transformation Manager – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

The Integration and Transformation Manager will support the Midlothian Integrated Joint Board (IJB) and the Chief Officer in advancing integrated health and social care across the region. Working within the Executive Leadership Team, the postholder will help shape and deliver the IJB’s strategic plan over a 12‑month fixed‑term period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategic business of the Midlothian IJB and ensure delivery of its strategic plan.
• Support the Chief Officer/Joint Director in developing integrated health and social care services.
• Act as a deputy for the Director on the Executive Leadership Team when required.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and statutory requirements governing Integration Joint Boards.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive solution‑focused, compassionate outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven track record in writing organisational strategy.
• Deep understanding of the legislation and statutory framework for Integration Joint Boards.
• Experience working within senior leadership teams in health or social care.
• Confident, solution‑oriented, and able to lead with compassion and collaboration.
