Interim Business Systems & Transformation Consultant

About the role

This interim contract is for a Business Systems & Transformation Consultant to support a major business transformation programme in Bury. The role focuses on improving processes and leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver quick wins and longer‑term solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Business Transformation Lead to identify inefficiencies and design technology‑enabled improvements.
• Develop and deploy solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Support the evaluation and future implementation of a new ERP platform.
• Work across multiple business systems including ERP, CRM, reporting and operational applications.
• Travel to depot locations as needed to understand operational processes.

Required profile

• Strong business analysis and process‑mapping experience.
• Proven track record in business or digital transformation programmes.
• Hands‑on experience building solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of ERP or business systems such as Business Central, Sage, Epicor, D365 or Kerridge.

What we offer

• Day rate of £400‑£500 (outside IR35), all‑inclusive.
• Initial six‑month contract with strong potential to extend.
• Hybrid working – three days onsite in Bury, remote for the remaining day.
• Occasional UK travel to depot sites.
