Interim Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced Interim Corporate Tax Manager to join its UK Tax team on short‑to‑medium term assignments. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services while enjoying the flexibility of contract work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on corporate tax compliance, planning and advisory across multiple industries.
• Oversee the preparation and review of tax computations, returns and accounting for client entities.
• Advise on VAT, corporate reorganisations, M&A transactions and other complex tax matters.
• Identify opportunities for tax efficiency and risk mitigation, supporting clients’ strategic growth.
• Collaborate with internal audit, advisory and finance teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deliver accurate, timely tax deliverables.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk management and value creation.
