Interim Credit Controller

About the role

An experienced Credit Controller is required on an interim basis to support a Bath‑based organisation that is undertaking a large‑scale finance improvement programme. Working closely with a forward‑thinking finance leadership team, you will own a diverse ledger, help raise cash collection performance and influence reporting and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a complex ledger comprising key accounts and high‑volume customers.
• Produce aged debt analysis and cash‑collection reporting.
• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Investigate payment disputes, identify root causes and resolve issues.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives across receivables and cash management.
• Contribute to working‑capital improvement projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience in credit control.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to work independently and influence outcomes.
• Experience within a fast‑paced commercial environment.
