Interim Director of Procurement (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Our client, a leading facilities management services provider, is seeking an interim Director of Procurement to lead a 12‑month transformation programme. The role will redesign the procurement function, establish new governance, and embed a Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) model to support future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the procurement team through organisational change and a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
• Redefine procurement’s role, structure, processes and value proposition.
• Design and implement robust onboarding, compliance and governance frameworks for third‑party suppliers.
• Manage supplier master data across multiple systems, ensuring data integrity and control.
• Develop a frictionless supplier marketplace that enables operational teams to place purchase orders with approved suppliers.
• Support the wider S2P transformation programme and collaborate with senior stakeholders and transformation partners.

Required profile

• Proven senior procurement leadership experience, preferably within facilities management or a similar sector.
• Demonstrated ability to drive large‑scale transformation and change management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior business leaders.
• Excellent understanding of supplier onboarding, assurance and compliance processes.

• Competitive salary of £120,000‑£130,000 per annum.
