Interim Finance Controller – 3‑6 Month Assignment

About the role
Eaton Syalon is partnering with a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed SME to appoint an Interim Finance Controller for a 3‑6 month assignment. Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full ownership of the finance function, supporting both day‑to‑day operations and strategic commercial initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the month‑end close and produce accurate management reports.
- Prepare cash‑flow forecasts and manage working capital.
- Drive financial planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight.
- Strengthen financial controls and reporting processes.
- Support senior leadership with commercial decision‑making.
Required profile
- Proven experience at Finance Manager or Financial Controller level.
- Strong background in SME environments, preferably with private‑equity exposure.
- Ability to work independently and quickly build credibility with stakeholders.
- Hands‑on, proactive approach with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
