Interim Finance Data Analyst - Fixed Assets

About the role

Handle Recruitment is partnering with a leading global retailer undergoing a major finance transformation. They seek an Interim Finance Data Analyst to lead the preparation and migration of fixed‑asset data for a large‑scale ERP rollout. The role blends finance expertise, data quality assurance and system integration, working across international teams to deliver accurate, compliant master data.

Key responsibilities

• Lead review, cleansing and validation of Fixed Asset Registers.
• Identify and resolve duplicate, obsolete or incomplete asset records.
• Support physical asset verification and reconciliation activities.
• Prepare high‑quality master data for migration into SAP.
• Map legacy financial data to new ERP structures.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and business stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Ensure data complies with governance, audit and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Fixed Assets, Master Data or Financial Data Management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
• Strong Excel capabilities, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and data analysis.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
• Comfort working in cross‑functional project teams.
