Interim Finance Manager (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are supporting a leading organisation in West Yorkshire that requires an experienced Finance Manager on an interim basis. The role starts immediately and runs for an initial six‑month period, providing continuity and financial control during a period of operational change.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations and maintain robust financial controls.
• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and reports.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support year‑end preparation and audit activities as required.
• Provide financial insight and reporting to senior management.
• Supervise and support junior finance team members.
• Drive improvements in processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
• Partner with key business stakeholders to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance role.
• Strong background in management reporting and financial control.
• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced, shared‑service environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
