Interim Finance Manager

About the role

HW Finance is supporting a leading Leeds‑based business with a 12‑month interim Finance Manager position. You will join an established finance team during a period of increased workload, providing day‑to‑day support and delivering high‑quality financial outputs from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support core FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Prepare and produce regular reports to aid business decision‑making.
• Work extensively in Excel to manage, analyse and interpret financial data.
• Assist with reconciliations, month‑end processes and general ledger oversight.
• Contribute to finance and operations projects, driving process improvements.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to the wider finance team during peak periods.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Act as a dependable all‑rounder across both FP&A and accounting functions.

Required profile

• Experienced finance professional able to integrate quickly into an existing team.
• Immediate availability or short notice period.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and handling multiple priorities.
• Proactive, reliable and able to act as a go‑to support for the Finance Manager and wider team.

What we offer

• Salary £60,000‑£70,000 per annum.
