Interim Financial Controller

About the role

Marks Sattin is partnering with a global property business to provide an experienced Interim Financial Controller. This hands‑on leadership position will support a complex, multi‑entity international finance function during a period of growth and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month‑end close and produce high‑quality management reports against tight deadlines.
• Oversee consolidation of financial results across a multi‑entity, multi‑currency group of more than 40 legal entities.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Review, enhance and embed internal controls, processes and governance frameworks.
• Partner with senior finance and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage and develop a team of four finance professionals.

Required profile

• ACA qualified, preferably with experience at a Big 4 or Top 10 accounting firm.
• Proven background as a Financial Controller in a complex, international organisation.
• Demonstrated experience in multi‑entity and multi‑currency consolidations.
• Strong team‑management capabilities.
• High attention to detail and a solid understanding of internal controls.
