Interim FP&A Manager (Retail)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Manager to join a leading retail business in Leeds. The role will focus on analysing historical performance, delivering forward‑looking forecasts and supporting strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present high‑level financial reports for the Board and senior management.
• Analyse commercial opportunities, risks and trends to inform strategic planning.
• Own reporting packs and provide ad‑hoc analysis for weekly, monthly and quarterly cycles.
• Lead budgeting, long‑term P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow forecasting aligned with business strategy.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, advising leadership on performance drivers.
• Support the 13‑week rolling cash‑flow forecast and a two‑year medium‑term plan.
• Deliver sales, margin and stock analysis across channels and regions.
• Partner with Finance Director and cross‑functional teams including Sales, Operations and HR.
• Enhance Navision reporting capabilities and train users on the system.

Required profile

• Proven FP&A experience, preferably within a retail environment.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
