Interim Fund Controller – 3-Month Contract

About the role

We are supporting a leading international real estate investment and asset management firm in finding an experienced Interim Fund Controller for a three‑month assignment. The role sits within the Investment Finance team and will be responsible for end‑to‑end fund reporting, treasury management and financial control across a portfolio of complex international real estate funds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and quarter‑end fund reporting, delivering accurate management accounts, board packs and statutory financial statements.
• Prepare investor reporting, capital calls, distributions and manage cash‑flow and liquidity forecasting.
• Oversee debt reporting, covenant compliance and ensure statutory, tax and regulatory compliance across multiple fund structures.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisers, legal counsel and outsourced service providers.
• Support acquisitions, restructurings and other strategic finance projects.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, controls and reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with proven fund control or investment finance experience.
• Strong background in real estate, private equity or alternative investment funds.
• Experience managing complex fund structures and investor reporting.
• Excellent technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
