Interim Group Consolidation & Reporting Manager

About the role

This interim position is responsible for the collection, accuracy and integrity of the Group's monthly consolidations and reporting. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across a global business based in Cheltenham, ensuring high‑quality financial information is delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of financial reporting for all Group entities, identifying and correcting errors to maintain data integrity.
• Produce commentary, analysis and reports on Group results, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Drive automation and reporting efficiencies by implementing dashboarding tools and custom reporting solutions.
• Enhance the control environment, streamline processes and manage internal control testing plans.
• Support TM1 development to modernise the consolidation system and improve data handling.
• Provide training and expertise to finance users to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Build strong relationships with local finance teams to ensure accurate actuals and forecasts.
• Improve and automate data submission and validation for reporting windows such as statutory packs.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to model large data sets.
• Broad experience of consolidation systems and financial system maintenance/development.
• Proven experience in reconciling, creating and presenting financial data.
• Flexible, collaborative and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, demanding environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, capable of diving into detail to answer business questions.
